Follow us on a walk through our most recent client snagging project. We have been working on a bespoke new development in Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham to ensure standards are met for practical completion!

Stage 1: Snagging
The first visit to site consisted of walking the site and viewing the first plot ready to snag. A close, careful inspection was made to identify any snags – big or small – to begin producing our snag report. Some of the snags we identified are below.

Light dimmer switch not fitted and non-operational

Make good of paintwork around plug sockets and broadband box

Flooring lifting in living area

Light rose not fitted to ceiling
Stage 2:
Next, we produced a professional report for each plot we snagged, with detailed images and descriptions so contractors could easily find and rectify them. These were sent across before we left the site, meaning works could begin right away! Working alongside contractors so the project can be completed on time!
Stage 3:
Once the plots had been snagged and rectification works had been completed, Nurtured Homes returned to back-snag. This involved another site visit where we used the printed snag reports to check off everything we identified in stage 1.
When we were satisfied that all snags had been addressed and the works met the standards set out, the plot was signed off by Nurtured Homes and the property is now ready for completion!
Summary
The snagging journey is not easy, and requires our keen eye for imperfections, but seeing the final project completed and handing over to satisfied buyers makes it worth it. We are always eager to get involved in new projects, and at Nurtured Homes, we get the job done! So, reach out to us if you require our services!
